Hello! My name is Dawn Rettew, I have 24+ years as a hairstylist in Hickory, NC and surrounding areas...I specialize in haircuts, color, highlights & GK Keratin Treatments. I use Barex Oliosetta Professional Italian Hair Color. Natural ingredients with certified organic moroccan oil, protein silk. Formerly, I used to own Salon Salon , Achique Studio & Retteau Atelier I also worked near Charleston SC for one year going door to door to cut hair! I just got back from FL where I worked in a Davines hair salon. Soooo happy to be home!

: Two colors process

Consultation required before appointment (video call or pictures).
Double process is typically used when lightening hair by more than two shades. First, the hair is bleached to remove natural or colored hair pigments. Then, pigment is added into the bleached or lightened hair to create the desired shade.
The process : first application to lighten your present hair color, second application to create the perfect tone (permanent or semi-permanent)
Include color products.
This process includes a haircut, Blowdry and style...and will take up to 3 hours. Please make sure your hair is completely dry when I arrive.

Full Highlights

Consultation recommended before appointment (video call or pictures).
A full highlight involves highlighting hair in every section of your head. This could be slightly lightening all of your hair or for something more dramatic, such as going from brunette to blonde.
Color is placed with foils throughout the whole head to brighten hair over all.
Includes color products.
Cut Blowdry and style are included. Please make certain your hair is completely dry when I arrive.

Single color process All Over

Consultation required before appointment (video call or pictures).
A new color or toner is applied all over your head to create a new base color.
Color is applied to cover grey or new growth from previous hair color. Can provide a complete color change, enhance natural tones or add texture.

Partial highlights are only in sections, usually placed around the face AND on top of the crown to give off a brighter, face-framing look and to brighten hair over all

Keratin Smoothing Treatment w/ color

Color service followed by GK Keratin Smoothing Treatment which will last from 3-6 months.
Color regrowth touch ups are not included in this price and will need to be redone every 6-8 -weeks after first process in order to cover new grey regrowth or to match up color.
